Gutenberg is a content editor for WordPress. It was introduced as the default content editor with WordPress version 5.0 and is named after the famous printing press inventor Johannes Gutenberg. Gutenberg offers WordPress users a block-based editing experience. This allows users to create their content more easily and flexibly using different "blocks" (e.g. paragraphs, images, buttons, lists).
