WooCommerce 4.4 has been in development since July but was only officially released recently, and with this update, both performance and new features have been added.
Since this update is small, it also works with previous versions.

This way, if for some reason something goes wrong during the update process, you can easily restore your site to the way it was when it was still working normally.
What are the Features Coming with WooCommerce 4.4?
WooCommerce 4.4One of the biggest advantages of 's is the bug fixes and improvements in different blocks.
Updated various styles to be more consistent and removed the use of dashicon classes.
Blocks will now also be able to apply product image crop settings. Sense blocks will now use the WooCommerce thumbnail size instead of loading the full-size image.
Also, the editor will no longer load only front-end display scripts. This should make the block editor even faster.
New Home Page for Coupon Management
If you want to manage your coupons, you will now need to look under the marketing center in the WordPress sidebar.
The coupon menu item will still appear in the old location, but clicking on the old link will cause an administrator to realize that it redirects users to the new location.
Warning. there will also be a button for users to remove the old admin menu item.
New Filters and Actions
WooCommerce 4.4 introduces several new filters and a new action that gives users a wide flexibility on their WordPress site.
The new filters allow users to do things like cross-sell, change the title of the product section or allow not to set uncached titles to improve performance.
Minimum WordPress Version Requirement
WooCommerce 4.2has introduced a minimum WordPress version requirement of WordPress 5.2 or higher.
WooCommerce 4.4 will maintain the same minimum requirement limit of WordPress 5.2 or higher.
